Browser Support
The Salesforce Design System (SDS) utilizes many modern and cutting-edge web technologies, such as Shadow DOM, Custom Elements, and CSS Custom Properties. To ensure consistent and accurate functionality, SDS only supports modern, evergreen (self updating) browsers. Legacy browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, are not supported.
Please ensure your browser is updated to its latest version to receive all available features and functionality.

Tablets
Support for tablet browsers is more limited, as the available feature set does not have parity with their desktop counterparts.

Android-based tablets are supported through the Salesforce mobile app.
1 Support for Microsoft Edge only extends to the Chromium (version 79+) version. Non-Chromium versions of Microsoft Edge are not supported.
